Rühle makes meat processing equipment for injecting, tumbling, marinating, mixing and cutting. The range includes IR brine injectors for curing, TR vacuum tumblers, MPR mixing, tumbling and marinating machines, AR dicers and slicers, the KR 3 portion cutter for bone-in or boneless portions, and the GR 50 frozen meat cutter. The most common approach combines brine injection with vacuum tumbling. Injection distributes brine or marinade evenly through the meat, and tumbling under vacuum massages it in, helping the meat absorb and hold the brine. The result is more tender, juicier meat, more consistent flavour and a higher cooked yield, which is why this process is standard for ham, bacon, poultry and marinated retail products.

Soaking meat in marinade can take hours or overnight and gives uneven results. A vacuum mixing and tumbling machine, such as the Rühle MPR range, moves the meat gently under vacuum so marinade is absorbed far faster and more evenly. This shortens production time, frees up chiller space and gives consistent flavour from batch to batch. The compact MPR 150 has a 150-litre container holding about 110 kg of meat, on a footprint the size of a Euro pallet. See the Rühle MPR 150.

Yes. As well as beef, lamb and pork, Rühle tumblers and mixers are used for poultry, game, fish and seafood, and for mixing and seasoning products such as vegetables, nuts and spices, both fresh and frozen. This makes them a flexible investment for processors with several product lines.
It depends on what you sell. Marinated and BBQ retail products usually start with an MPR mixing and marinating machine. Cured ham and bacon need a brine injector, usually followed by a tumbler. Food service and ready meal suppliers often start with an AR dicer for cubes and strips, butchers cutting bone-in portions look at the KR 3, and processors working with frozen blocks use the GR 50. For most meat processors, the payback comes from higher yield through better brine take-up and retention, shorter marinating and curing times, consistent portion and cube sizes that reduce giveaway, and less manual cutting and handling. Share your current volumes, yields and labour hours, and we'll help you estimate the payback for your operation.

Rühle builds its machines from stainless steel with hygiene in mind, so they can be cleaned thoroughly as part of daily sanitation. Easy cleaning matters for NZ meat processors working under a Risk Management Programme or food control plan, and for retailer audits. Tell us your cleaning routine and requirements, and we'll explain how each machine fits them.
