An auger filler uses a rotating screw (auger) inside a funnel to dose powder into a container. Each turn of the auger delivers a consistent amount, so the machine controls the fill weight by controlling how far the auger turns. It depends on the speed and accuracy you need. The DigiFill DF-1 is a reliable, straightforward auger filler with a clutch and brake drive, for jobs that don't need top speed. It can be pillar-mounted above a VFFS bagging machine or used floor-standing. The EasiFill EF-III adds a direct, variable-speed auger drive with its own stirrer, needs very little maintenance, and is the better choice for weight-controlled filling. The ServoFill SF-III is the top of the range, built for the highest speed and accuracy at over 200 fills per minute. All three share tooling and can connect to other packaging equipment.

Powder fillers can fill jars, tubs, tins, cans, bottles, pouches and bags, depending on the machine and the container handling around it. Semi-automatic fillers have an operator place each container, while automatic systems move containers in and out of the filling station on a conveyor or rotary table.
A rotary filling system moves containers around a rotating table through each step, such as placing, filling, check-weighing and capping, so several jobs happen at once in a small footprint.
