A complete industrial ammonia refrigeration plant configured for process cooling duties, previously utilised for dairy chilling applications.
The plant comprises a MYCOM (Mayekawa, Japan) screw compressor package, driven by a WEG three-phase electric motor, forming the core of the refrigeration system. The installation includes a Baltimore Aircoil (BAC) evaporative condenser, providing efficient heat rejection, and an Alfa Laval gasketed plate heat exchanger, utilised for cooling of product or secondary fluids.
The system is supported by a low-pressure (LP) receiver/separator vessel (Weldtrade Engineering, New Zealand), designed and certified in accordance with applicable pressure-vessel standards, along with associated refrigerant-handling equipment.
Additional components include:
The plant operates on a conventional ammonia refrigeration cycle, providing reliable and efficient cooling for industrial process applications. The system is offered as a complete installation, suitable for relocation and recommissioning, or, alternatively, for component recovery, depending on the buyer’s requirements.
