Discuss your productIt depends on your output and pack. The Thimonnier THD400 is a 4-station machine that fills and seals stand-up doypacks and larger-volume bags, which suits refill pouches and retail packs. The semi-automatic SF10 suits smaller cosmetic and cleaning brands moving away from hand filling. Proquip Solutions is the authorised New Zealand distributor for Thimonnier. See the THD400 and SF10.
Refill pouches are usually stand-up pouches, often with a spout or tear notch, filled with liquid soap, shampoo, body wash or laundry and dish liquid. They use much less plastic than rigid bottles and take up less space in transport and storage, which is why many brands are moving to refills. A pouch filling machine doses the product and seals the pouch cleanly, with the pouch film chosen to suit the product. Thimonnier machines fill liquid soap, shampoo, detergent and lotion into refill pouches.

Yes, with the right filling setup. Thick creams, lotions and gels need a filler designed for viscous products, while foaming products such as shampoo and liquid soap are filled in a controlled way so foam doesn't overflow or get caught in the seal. Thimonnier machines fill products from thin liquids to thick pastes, and the filling settings are matched to your product.

For many small and growing brands, yes. A semi-automatic filler doses each pouch accurately and seals it, with an operator placing the pouches, so it gives consistent fills and a professional finish without the cost of a fully automatic line. As volumes grow, brands can move to a multi-station machine. The Thimonnier SF10 is a semi-automatic filling and packaging machine for this step.
Ask about the SF10: sales@proquipx.com
Yes, if the pouch film and seals are chosen for the product. Detergents, bleach and concentrated cleaners can affect some films, so the film needs to be compatible with the chemical, and the seals need to be strong enough to prevent leaks in transport and on shelf. Testing your product in the chosen pouch before production is the safest approach.
Yes. Single-use sachets for samples, travel sizes and hotel amenities are made on form-fill-seal machines, which form small pouches from a roll of film, fill them and seal them. Thimonnier makes form-fill-seal machines for liquid and viscous products, so tell us your sachet size and output and we'll recommend the right model.
