The Orki18 peeling machine is specially designed for processing whole kiwis as well as citrus fruit such as oranges, lemons and grapefruits. By adapting the peeling depth to various products, the machine achieves an optimal peeling result with a high yield. The Orki18 processes fruit with a diameter of 60 to 120 mm.
The machine’s two parallel peeling lines are loaded manually by placing the fruit into the product pockets. The fruit are transported in these pockets to the peeling station where the fruit is cored and then peeled, depending on the setting. After the peeling process, the fruit is discharged sideways out of the machine via a discharge hood either onto optionally available conveyor belts or into crates.
Thanks to the parallel peeling lines, the Orki18 can process two different products at the same time. In addition, zests can also be produced from the peel of citrus fruit by means of an optionally available attachment.
